Tubeless road tire

ITS COMPOSITION :

Casing:
- Woven nylon textile 42 threads per cm
- Bead core cross structure textile stiffener to resist high pressure and for better resistance to punctures and aggression on the sidewalls

Bead cores: (winding of copper, aramide or carbon wire reinforcing the part of the tire that forms the rim flange)
Standard Kevlar bead cores are not strong enough to resist the very high forces applied to the bead cores. Therefore, HUTCHINSON has developed exclusive bead cores made of High Modulus Carbon.

Inner sealing rubber:
A very thin rubber is applied onto the inside part of the casing so as to make the tire leak tight. A mixture of special rubber around the outside part of the bead cores gives a better seal and better resistance to abrasion at the contact with rim flanges.

Tread:
3 combined types of rubber on a single tread
- The central rubber provides long operating lifetime and resistance to cutting & punctures, and gives high performance.
- The intermediate rubber is useful when approaching turns and offers satisfactory progressiveness.
- The side rubber is very soft and gives an impressive grip at all speeds, under all road and weather conditions.
