TRIPLEX, a liquid and gas tight composite liner for cryogenic systems
TRIPLEX is used throughout the world in shipyards for the construction of membrane tanks LNG tankers, as a secondary barrier.

The composition of TRIPLEX’s substrates enables tightness and mechanical strength under extreme environmental conditions.
Its rubber-based composition jointly with its lightness ensures easiness of installation.

Thanks to very high-grade glass-fabric substrates, the composite whilstands high cyclic tensile stresses associated with operating temperatures down to -200°C (LNG, LO2, LN2 applications)

TRIPLEX has become throughout the years a highly demanded liner used in the construction of LNG liquid and gas-tight barriers either for transport or storage applications.

Main applications:
- Secondary barrier of membrane LNG carriers type MKIII or CS1 (Gaz Transport and Technigaz design)
- Bund Walls of land-based LNG storage terminals
- Development on-going for secondary barrier of Gas or LNG piping systems, either on shore or for ship-to-shore, or ship-to-ship transfer.
