As early as the 1960s in household appliances and industry, then with the automotive in the 1980s. Hutchinson provided safe usage for all its clients via a recourse to predictive calculations of operating lifetime, vibration and acoustic behavior.

In order to develop its specialty in major markets worldwide, Hutchinson, which has control over its manufacturing processes, set up shop in Poland, Brazil and China where it produces POLY V^® belts at the highest levels of quality and reliability.
