The Sealing Systems Business Unit specializes in the formulation and transformation of elastomers satisfying the requirements of the railroad industry, and it offers a wide range of molded, extruded, calendered or tailor-made sealing solutions.

The LJF Stillman and JPR companies are integrated into a group that has been supplying the railroad market for many years, and they supply the world’s largest manufacturers and their specialized suppliers (doors, ventilation and aeration systems, braking system, etc.).
With 3,000 active formulas, Hutchinson can satisfy the specific requirements of the railroad industry, by including resistance to fire/smoke (NFF16101, DIN5510-2, BS6853, UIC830-1, etc.) or very low temperatures.
Due to the combined expertise of Paulstra and LJF^®, Hutchinson also designs and manufactures its range of gangways for the railroad market.
