The Mobility Systems Business Unit designs and manufactures mobility systems for civilian and military wheeled vehicles as well as tank track components.

3 Hutchinson has more than 80 years of experience with runflat tires since military vehicles were first equipped in 1925.

Since then, Hutchinson has consistently used its vast experience in this area to develop and adapt its products to fulfill the mobility requirements of modern armed forces.

In addition to the well-known safety features of runflat and bead-lock systems (BEADLOCK^®), Hutchinson has designed a military wheel that reduces its weight by up to 60%. Hutchinson can now offer complete mobility systems comprised of wheels, tires and runflat safety devices.

Recognized throughout the world for its excellent performance, Hutchinson equipment has proven its effectiveness in real battle situations. These devices have been adapted by all the major manufacturers of military vehicles throughout the world, many of whom offer our products as original equipment. In parallel, this military experience has been used to develop civilian mobility products for armored vehicles and the mass transit industry.
