Booster attachments are intended to fix boosters to the central body of the rocket and dampen thrust oscillations without interfering with the launcher flight.
Advantages
The system combines the flexibility required to filter vibrations with resistance for the transmission of booster thrust. Rigidity is very low for movements of the order of 150 mm, leading to high system efficiency
Applications
Used on the Ariane 5 rocket since 1996.
Suspension for liquid helium tank
