Dampers, metallic cushions and spring-mounted dampers for machine suspension

Presentation
Antivibration dampers manufactured by the company STOP CHOC® attenuate the effects (to health, reduced machine operating lifetimes, manufacturing tolerances and cracking in buildings) of shocks and vibrations to people, machines, buildings and production processes.
Advantages
- Solid and wear-proof: continuous use for the entire operating lifetime of a machine.
- Resistant to the aggressive influences of the environment.
- High load capacity.
- Loads in the range of several Newtons to 1000 kN per antivibration damper with inherent frequencies of about 8 to 50 Hz.
- Complete product line: more than 100 different products families.
Applications
STOP CHOC® products are standardized in all sectors of industry. The metallic cushions are the core of the antivibration damper, and can also be used directly as support and levelers for the insulation and decoupling of active dynamic components of the machine. Spring insulators (mechanical or viscoelastic damping) offer passive insulation of machines and insulation from shocks.

Suspension for machine-tools (PAULSTRA® VIBRACHOC®)

Presentation
There are 2 product lines:
Elastomer line:
The vibration attenuation of these suspensions for rotating machines (motorized fans, air conditioners, motor-driven pumps and compressors, generators, ATU, refrigeration units) is more than 90% at 1500 rpm (25 Hz).
Metal line:
Very low frequency dampers, down to 3 Hz, insulate rotating machines starting at 450 rpm, vibrators, and impact machines, providing a 95% attenuation.
Advantages
Entirely metallic, these suspensions for rotating machines can be used outside or in severe environmental conditions.
They are relatively insensitive to the phenomenon of creeping and their operating lifetime can be the same as that of the machine they insulate.
A metallic cushion in each spring increases the damping coefficient and limits displacements at the resonance frequency.
Applications
Motor-driven fans, air conditioners, motor-driven pumps and compressors, generators, ATU (air treatment units), refrigeration units.
Suspension for presses (PAULSTRA® VIBRACHOC®)
Presentation
The interposition of suitable suspensions between the load-bearing structure and machine-tools fulfills two roles:
- An important static role: the suspension provides better distribution of loads by compensating certain manufacturing tolerances, thereby ensuring more reliable and more economical systems.
- A dynamic role: insulates from vibrations and shocks, thereby considerably improving surrounding vibration comfort and the operating lifetime of machine-tools.
Advantages
As a result of equifrequency characteristics and anti-rebound metallic cushions, these suspensions can be used on board for antivibration mounting of ship, vehicle, etc. engines and motors. The temperature resistance between -70°C and +300°C also enables exhaust manifolds to be insulated.
Applications
Applications: grinders, machine-tools, presses, shearing machines, transformers.
