Presentation
Flexible Triplex is used throughout the world in shipyards for the construction of LNG ship tank diaphragms, used as secondary barrier.
Its composition ensures sealing, flexibility and mechanical resistance in extreme conditions
Advantages
It resists high stresses in terms of fatigue and mechanical characteristics in a very severe environment: temperature -170°C.
Its properties of resistance, tightness and resistance to cold make flexible Triplex a must in the manufacture of liquefied gas-tight barriers.
Applications
Triplex is used as coating strips for the secondary barrier (rigid Triplex) for maritime transportation of liquefied natural gas (methane tanker).
It can also be used for terrestrial storage or cryogenic hose assemblies
